Learn More About Our HistoryPaddlers Inn is located within the unceeded territory of the Kwikwasut’inuxw Hawa’mis First Nation. This general area is governed by four tribes referred to as Musgamagw Dzawada’enuxw and comprised of Gilford – Gwayasdums, Kingcome – Gwayee, Hopetown – Hegams, & Wakeman – Alalco.
Gwayasdums is home to the Kwikwasut’inuxw Hawa’mis First Nation, and is the closest village and First Nation to Paddlers Inn, and the village that we work the most closely with.
